Already loving it. The characters are very fascinating and unique, especially Darby. Great acting and casting. The scoring is incredible. The cinematography and location (gorgeous Iceland) is breathtaking. The lore goes deep. Everything is brilliantly thought out, spiritual and moving. Truly a blessing and well worth the wait to have another Brit and Zal masterpiece. I was devastated after The OA (their previous story) was cancelled, and this is giving me so much hope, thrilled for the next weeks to come! Yes, it is slow at times. Depending on the person. I will admit that. For example two characters spend a long scene just singing in the car. But I find beauty in this though. I do not want things to be rushed, it is horrendous for building hype for a show, and allows time for fan discussions and theories. I want to spend as much time as possible fully getting to know characters. I want to be confused. I want for things to not make sense, until they do, and when it does, it alters your entire life. I don't leave many reviews, so did my best.
