This movie grabs you from the start!! You feel like part of this family striking out for freedom, but haunted and hounded by racism, deception, the past, and the supernatural. Beautiful acting photography, and scenery. Spooky at times but not evil...except for the evil that lurks in the hearts of some of the characters. This movie tells a tragic story. It's sad, but it's also full of strength, of resilience. It's a story of how family, love, and the human spirit can overcome and triumph through great heartache and hardship. Watch it!! You will be thinking about what it means long after A Southern Haunting ends.
