It felt pretty nostalgic watching this and I don't think the writing is as bad as people are saying. However, what ruined the show for me was the "wokeness" that just felt so forced and made me cringe. I think representation in film is important, but this is just over-the-top with too much focus on gender / racism / identity / discrimination. Doesn't feel natural. And that Che Diaz character who is supposed to add a humorous touch to the show is just so unfunny I almost couldn't handle it.
