S1 to S4 just really awesome! Flashbacks made sense and were really good to see. S5 & S6 also very good! Yes, some of the storylines may took a bit too long and got a bit annoying, but still enjoyable to watch. Unfortunately from mid-season 7 it started to get confusing. Season 8 was really too confusing and weird in my opinion. It's a shame that from that point on, there were too many weird flashbacks and peeks into the future (and don't get me started about the references too other shows, ugh!). All of this just made it hard to keep up with the storyline. BUT, I really did enjoy watching Arrow and even don't regret that I kept watching after it got confusing and weird. So, YES, I would still recommend you to watch Arrow, because overall, the show really is good..!
