I liked this movie, and I'm glad I saw it in the theater. It's flawed, but entertaining. Don't set your expectations too high. It had some very unique and cool parts, and some boring or unoriginal parts. I watched Alien Romulus recently, and I would say that I like Ash more than that one - it was more bold and stylized. I don't think this movie is for everyone. It's slow in parts. The CGI isn't great. The story is definitely a bit predictable. But it was stylistically interesting. It reminded me a lot of being in a video game. The idea of uncovering a mystery alone in outer space was fun. It was a cool idea and might've been great with better writing.
