Give Ana De Armas the Oscar immediately. Probably the best performance of the year, so far. Blonde is easily one of the best films of 2022. It's visually stunning, it's emotionally moving. There's a lot of creative liberty taken here that some will appreciate, others won't. I cried 3 times. I just wanted to hug Marilyn. Not gonna be for most people, be warned, it can be triggering. The abuse here is definitely something that stays consistent. The film starts off with it, and it doesn't stop till the end. Again, a film that some will not be able to stomach, some might call it " artsy and boring", and then there will be people who actually understand Andrew Dominik's vision and will appreciate it. I think the film, especially Ana's performance will be studied in the years to come. Bravo.
