I'm not good with arts except makeup I guess, but I appreciate the visual that this animation served. I love the aesthetics. The parkour theme gave a youthful and fresh flavor to its whole duration. And I was captured by the mysterious vibe of the plot and music. Honestly, I did not understand most of its plot. However, now I realized why most of anime movies has confusing plots. It is because the confusion makes it more interesting. The plot holes signifies that we cannot always know what's beyond our knowledge as a person and there are things that are better kept as a secret. Likewise, the open ended finale, just like other anime movies, it shows that life is just starting again. The music took this movie in another level. Well, I consider myself musically inclined. With just the short humming loop, I knew right from the teaser that the plot would be vaguely eerie but exciting, and at the same time there would be longingness with a pinch of romance.
