Thanks to the Netflix money, this German series once again looks great. Unfortunately, it suffers once again from mediocre acting and sometimes stupid dialogue. Nobody talks like that. It's truly regrettable when you consider what great films once came out of Germany. Not the masses, but still with class. The stoic, stilted language and stiff acting do not fit in with the theme and the rest of the presentation. Of course, the clever little nincompoop can immediately try to repair a highly complex robot. Immediately, some stupid past clichés are unpacked. Apart from that, AI and 70s is complete nonsense. You realise right from the start that this is going to be extremely exhausting. This stilted recitation of text passages is just awful.
