I'm a big fan of the original Castlevania and i think this spinoff seires is pretty good but i don't think writing is no where near the original. It has a 1 fatal flaw but i might get to be proven wrong with second season but night creatures do not work the same way that they do in original series and again there migth be an explaination for that in further seasons but i don't see that there has been a hint to make it happen. Another thing that is bothering me in this series is that main characters are lacking charisma and conviction but it does get better the further you get into the season. Story is interasting and the visuals are as beautiful as ever and fights are damn good. Love character desgins (excluding what i wrote above). There are cople more bad writing decisions here and there but overall not bad and i hope to see more and better.
