This is your typical low-budget, Danish series. It has all the trappings of Danish preachiness e.g ethnic diversity of the "New Denmark", blended families, a lot of moralizing and philosophizing,etc. What it lacks is a good script! There are too many dime store special effects, including an overuse of drone footage, creepy electronic music and darkly lit surroundings. The pace is slow to the point of "stop motion". It is not difficult to understand the low user rating! What is amazing is that the series was actually funded and produced.....and that Netflix shows it!
