If you can get on this movie's bizarre and other-worldly wavelength, I think Clawfoot has a lot to offer. A movie split in two halves, where the first features a lot of set up. The second half paying it off quite well. The plot is good, but where the movie shines is in its directing, featuring a heightened reality, including unrealistic dialogue and conversations. But that is how this quaint and oddball reality is, and you just gotta go with it. It won't work for everyone, but it worked for me. I highly recommend checking out Clawfoot, and I hope it finds an audience. Francesca Eastwood is excellent and seriously needs to be in more. She carries the movie, and the rest of the cast is also fantastic.
