All in all, this is a big fat "meh" and barely worth the current $5.99 VOD streaming price. If you're a fan of any of the cast members or southern Louisiana (Crescent City is actually New Orleans' nickname, though this film is not set in NO), you might be sufficiently entertained. Otherwise it's derivative, predictable (except when it tries to be surprising and even then it's predictable) and low budget. To the notion that Alec Baldwin is a murderer IRL, the courts have said no. I don't know the specifics of the incident in New Mexico, but every television/movie set has an armorer. It is the armorer's job to ensure that there are no live rounds and that if there isn't going to be any gunfire in a given scene, no blank rounds either. They clear the firearm in front of the actor and ask the actor to sign off on it, usually in ink on a notepad. The fault in the case of an accident usually lands with the armorer because it's not possible for an actor or extra to know whether a round is blank or live assuming there is a round at all. As noted, however, I don't know the exact sequence of events on the previous set and unless Baldwin intentionally brought live ammunition onto set and loaded it himself, it's hard to say he was at fault for the unfortunate death of the other person, who I want to say was either the sound manager or assistant director.
