As a die-hard fan of Cruel Intentions, I was immensely disappointed with this garbage. How this atrocity got picked up to series and NOT the pilot starring Sarah Michelle Gellar is baffling. The OG cast of Cruel Intentions were beautiful, like most teen shows of the era. They managed to get the beautiful Claire Forlani, as Caroline's mother, but Caroline looks nowhere near as attractive as her mother, couldn't even hold a candle next to SMG. Everyone on this show was bland, stale, and boring as hell. There's a reason why Beauty & The Beast is a beloved classic, but nothing compares to a beauty with beastly intentions. It's just more entertaining to root for a villain who can slay and look like an ageless angelic vampire, not a low-rent Elle Woods.
