I was so much looking forward to this show. Unfortunately it misses every possible mark. First thing you'll notice is how white it is. Theres not a drop of melanin in sight until the VP's daughter becomes rolls around, but for such a big ensemble, this is extremely embarrassing and does not represent the real world whatsoever. There are three, let me repeat that, THREE main character's that are curly hairs brunette men with similiar haircuts. Im white and had trouble telling them apart which makes the story hard to follow. Why did you cast 3 triplets as main characters who are apparently not related? The casting director obviously has a type and it looks terrible on screen. Caroline (she's basically Sarah Michelle Gellar's character's from the film) look exactly like a young Reese Witherspoon. The girl is Georgia's and I get wanting to cast her, but why make her Caroline? This is incredibly confusing for fans of the movie. If you were going to switch it up, then don't cast actors that look exactly like the original cast but give them different roles. Who the heck is making these silly decisions? They do not serve the show whatsoever and only take away from the flow and quality. Lastly, the story, although it loosely follows the film, is incredibly dull. I thought pilot episodes were supposed to be intriguing and pull you in. I found myself falling asleep I was so bored and I begrudgingly continued the series just out of pure curiosity to see if it would get better or turn into one of those train wrecks that are so bad, they're good. It did not get better and was not even a good train wreck. Can we fire all the Hollywood execs and get some fresh perspectives in there? Jesus christ.
