Dark Harvest is the bomb! It is a lovely surprise, a movie coming out of nowhere, with a lovely hint of The Running Man 1987, but still being its own thing. Honestly, to me, it is the year's horror, surpassing Talk to me, Cobweb, Boogeyman or It lives inside. Everything about it was done with flair and grace, embracing the old, but adapting for the present. I loved the plot, characters, direction and especially the fact that if it felt clichee, it had every right to do so because of the time set. A horror with brains, truly nicely executed, that simply puts you in a happy place because you're watching something so fresh and so nice, even tho nothing announced this one. Dark Harvest is a definite recommendation for any horror fan, finally something better in its full form, not just picking out pieces and calling it an almost success. Really glad I decided to give this a try. Cheers!
