Sometimes, something silly is all you need. Didn't expect to like from the look of it. I didn't like the animation style for something like this, still don't, and he doesn't remind me much of Dante from any of the games, but the thing is, I enjoy his character anyway. He did let a strawberry sundae fall on the floor though, what's up with that? They could have just animated him catching it. The guy does all the things he does, but let his sundae go to waste? Disgraceful. So yeah, not Dante, but very enjoyable mc nonetheless. Kevin Conroy is in this somehow. I was very surprised when I heard Batman talking. He died back in 2022, and through a miracle, or production delay, we get to listen to him one last time. The writing is stupid, but they went all in on it being stupid, so it ends up fun. While it's overall bad, it works when it should, if that makes sense. And the action is good, that's about it. It may not be the DMC you wanted, knew, or expected, but it does bring a similar energy.
