Smith and Foster delivers superb acting performance, as well as all cast members. All looks authentic including cloths guns etc. The movie is full with action, it's a thriller-drama-action movie, personally I was glued to my seat throughout the movie, the scenes are strong, explicit, brutal. This is not a movie for kids, teens may watch and will leave a huge impact on them. The movie shows the cruelty of a society that was built on slavery and using blacks as cheap and disposable manpower. The entire economy was based on the work of slaves. They were treated like cattle by whites until the end of the civil war. Too many nations were built on genocide and horrors, not just in America, it should always be a reminder for us, a warning, on the nature of human kind, and the sad thing is that human trafficking and cruelty still exists in 3rd world countries in a scale much larger then before. This film makes you think, I hope it will remind people about the importance of human rights.
