Freaky Tales 2025 720p WEB-DL x264

There was a time that if you tried to get to 924 Gilman Street without a car, good luck. We had to take BART and then an AC Transit bus when coming from San Francisco. I headed over on a weekend for an afternoon show, and the bus was running. The show let out, it was dusk, so I found that I needed a ride back to BART. I asked if it was a long walk back which drew some attention of some people who said that they would take me back to BART. I was so grateful and thanked them more than once. But that was the whole vibe of 924 Gilman Street and Bay Area's all ages clubs. Look out for the lost kids and the underdogs. This film captures that sentiment with the very club itself. The rules still stand even today. We're not going to let Nazi punks take over our venue, they cannot get away with beating on the kids, calling us names, and creating an unsafe vibe. The drop-in animation make for comical and fantastic fun moments. The bus driver is depicted as a being beyond the norm. The girl by your side has always got your back. This is the movie we need for our sorrowful times. The story walks the path against the stereotype hero. The characters are complex and also familiar to us. The ones who win, aren't leaving without scars. The ones who fall, die a deserved death.
