Huge fan of The Boys, the grittiness, violence and humor really struck all the right chords for me. So when I heard about Gen V I was concerned and almost certain that it was going to be a poor spin off appealing to teens like that one Walking Dead spin off. This time, I was gladly mistaken. Now, it's not The Boys, it definitely is more "hip" and is set on a college, but it still holds the central tenets of The Boys strong at its center. The characters take a little bit of time to get used to and figure out their roles but by episode 3 they definitely feel a lot more comfortable. I love the main character, Marie, she's wonderful. Definitely can recommend to a fan of The Boys, especially to hold you over until season 4.
