Morgan Freeman and Luke Hemsworth, despite their considerable talents, are utterly unable to salvage this disaster of a film. The script is riddled with clichés and uninspired dialogue, making it impossible for even seasoned actors to deliver a convincing performance. The action sequences are unimaginative and poorly choreographed, lacking any real sense of excitement or tension. The music, which should elevate the scenes, is bland and forgettable, doing little more than filling the silence. The CGI is embarrassingly amateurish, resembling the work of a teenager experimenting with visual effects on a home computer. Most of the cast delivers wooden, lackluster performances that fail to engage the audience. Overall, 'Gunner' is a film that falls short in nearly every aspect.
