I'm a Halo fan, played the game for years. The first episode started off decent with a good battle sequence but then cratered from there. Too much wokeisn in the unrealistic casting and inferences. I'll give it a couple more episodes but can already tell how this series will shape up. It will be just like Paramount+'s other big sci-fi-drama, Star Trek Discovery. It will gain a very small but loyal following but never gain enough traction to be a real hit. It's too bad, they had a real shot with this one.
