Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk have made a great nod to the classic camp slashers of the 1980's. Genre enthusiasts will have a blast with this one. There is a lot to love for casual fans as well, as this movie is hilarious! Horror/comedies usually don't work for me, but this one is actually funny! Billy Bryk was particularly hilarious, (everyone has their moments though). Overall, I would say if you enjoy fun and silly movies you'll enjoy this. However, if you hate slashers, this film definitely won't change your mind. Critics will probably be dismissive of this movie, but there's a hell of a good time to be had with this one.
