I'm not sure if it's the poor performance by the male lead (absolutely zero charisma and delivers every line flat and wooden) - or if it's the extremely boring and uninteresting plot/writing. I like the premise, setting and time period - but that's about it. There is very little to nothing redeeming about how the show is delivered in acting and writing. I made it through the first episode and the decision to not watch any more was very easy after that, Give this one a huge miss - there's a lot of better shows out there. Not quite sure there's a lot worse than this one this year though... A solid 1/10.
