Insecure is a sharp take on contemporary adulting. It's woven and acted so well it feels like you just talked to a close friend about your week & life after each episode. The series weaves goofy outlandish moments with deep realism that goes to the heart and substance of life. Storylines won't simply be about infidelity and drama but the nuances and dynamics of being an active person with multiple relationships in this thing we call life. The only downsides are a over reliance on witty snappy jokes to fill in dialogue, things getting a bit outlandish/cartoony and some melodrama in later seasons.
