This show's editing is absolutely atrocious when it comes to making Brooklyn look like Philadelphia-it never even comes close. From the moment you start watching, it's painfully obvious that the show was not filmed in Philly, and the post-production team made little to no effort to disguise it. If you're familiar with either city, the differences stand out like a sore thumb. Street signs, phone numbers, and even energy boxes still say "NYS," making it clear that we're looking at New York, not Pennsylvania. Instead of immersing viewers in an authentic Philadelphia setting, the show relies on flimsy tricks like fake tents and an exaggerated depiction of homelessness and drug addiction to convince audiences. But no matter how much they dress up the streets, the surrounding architecture, signage, and general atmosphere scream Brooklyn. At that point, they might as well have just filmed the whole thing on a backlot in Hollywood-it would have been just as convincing, if not more so. When a show is set in a specific city, part of the immersion comes from getting the details right. Unfortunately, this production didn't even try. The result is a distracting, unconvincing setting that pulls you out of the story rather than drawing you in.
