I don't know what the other people reviewing watched, but this is fabulous! Maya Rudolf is obviously an incredible comedian, but we're getting a more layered character in Loot. The plot is interesting, the jokes are minorly funny, and there is a fabulously diverse cast. Yes the whole being rich and being out of touch is kind of a tired troupe, but I think this version is kind of funny - (especially the candy room she ate out of while sobbing) It's also nice to see an older (she started the show with her 45th birthday) woman on a television screen who isn't a size 4 and white - especially at a turning point in her life when character development is imminent. I seriously hope y'all ignore those other reviews and watch this one! On episode 3 and really enjoying so far.
