I should have listened to the bad reviews but wanted to make up my own mind hoping I would like it. I was so wrong that it's made me write my first ever review on here after years of using this site. It gets an extra star for being a well made film but this seemed like a pretentious student film with a budget. I should have seen the warning signs from the overrated Hereditary which was a decent enough film but doesn't deserve the praise it gets. There are plenty of unsettling scenes here but the most unsettling thing is that I felt like I could actually feel myself slowly dying watching this ridiculously overlong film! If in doubt about this film like I was, just avoid it!
