Watched 2 episodes, so take this preliminary "review" with a grain of salt. This show is very teenager-y with lots of conveniences and forced outcomes that don't particularly show anyone's cleverness. The story (so far) wasn't exceptionally interesting.. with puzzle-room-solving skills used on the real world by kids that have levels of parent distrust, while still chasing after them. It's certainly a bad sequel to what was a budget copy of Indiana Jones-type stories.. but more importantly to me, it's the fact that the tone doesn't mesh together with all the presented elements.. it's supposed to be serious/heavy/dangerous, but in a "Spy Kids" kind of way (or a better comparison would be like watching a 2000s "Disney Channel" series). It might be good as a generic entry into a sea of forgettable content.. but with that title behind it? I can't see anything but disappointed fans.
