This film is an absolute spectacle; the story is wonderful and has enough thematic and emotional depth to keep the viewer interested well beyond the spectacle and well after the credits. My only real issue--and i will admit this is a rather glaring one--is the design of Nimona herself. Her human form is so... Plain; her face is identical to that of any disney princess. Big adorable eyes, button nose and round jaw; just like Elsa, Anna, Rapunzel, Ariel, Merida, the list goes on. My point is: in such a well-designed and unique movie, a plain design sticks out in an unpleasant manner. Again, this is a brilliant movie and it's frankly a miracle that it was released at all after its cancellation, and well worth anyone's time.
