The people who made this and the awful netflix Rilakkuma show have really nailed their niche. This saccharine, pandering show could have had potential, but it's made by and for women who can't grow up as opposed to actual children. I can't imagine kids getting anything out of this, or god forbid relating to the main character. Maybe it if was like Mystery Dungeon and all the characters were solely pokemon in a resort run by pokemon only, it could have been cute and interesting. Instead, all this has to offer is fleeting glimpses of pokemon cutely rendered in stop motion until the focus goes back to the unlikable and ugly humans, pretentiously waxing about life in a fantasy place that makes the Disney Star Wars hotel almost look dignified by comparison. At least you can GO there.
