Before we judge anything else about the show, it's a phenomenal story. A situation in which the chief prosecutor is the suspect is pretty insane. The story unfolds as the audience becomes aware of Rusty's involvement. Jake's acting is top notch. I agree with other reviewers that the other roles are weak. I see lazy attempt at meeting diversity checkboxes without actually looking for right talent. Even then, the setup, the pace and how things play out are simply great! If you enjoy legal thrillers, crime mysteries and a bit of complex plot, this one is no brainer one of the best this year. And Jake Gylenhall is the best actor around.
