I'm a big fan of the original, so I had hope for this. Unfortunately, it started losing my attention within 15 mins. It seems like they rushed to throw something together with a low budget. Not sure if it's the script or actors, maybe both, but the acting is subpar and feels forced. While they attempt to tie it to the original, they mostly mention it and discard it so they can move along with this cheesy updated version. Which I get, it's a different story, but let's keep some of that original magic and nostalgia there . Unless they have a sudden change of writers and the actors chemistry, I can't see these show doing well.
