I was excited to hear about this project and it was okay, but this first episode didn't really get me excited like the first time I watched the original QL pilot. I think it has potential though. I wanted to see more of the story surrounding Ben -- the way the old series would be mostly set in the past and Al would just pop in now and then. This switches back and forth between the present and past a lot, so I didn't feel like I got involved in the story that Ben was meant to be 'fixing' in the past. The focus seemed to be more centered around the present and Ben's relationship with his wife, etc. I'll keep watching, hoping my next leap will be the leap home.
