If you are looking for a modern rehash of Baywatch, then you have found your new love. But if you have skills like critical thinking, common sense, and the desire for complex plots then I would advise you skip this. Cliche, wooden acting, boring rescues and surface level depth. I guess writers are just lazy these days and the only thing going on in Hollywood boardrooms is searching old shows that were successful and trying to modernize them. Problem is times have changed and people are tired of the same old tropes. And modern tropes are even worse than the tropes of the old days. We need some fresh ideas and we are not getting them. Not to mention the acting is horrendous, I mean very bad. I like the Australian guy who was a guard in the Australian show Wentworth, but he seems tired and uninterested in this show. As do most of the cast. Forced romance and predictable plots are what you see here. Hawaii is beautiful and the landscapes are nice but it's just not enough. Still holding out that someday we will see an original idea for a show. But this isn't it. Come on writers take some risks and try something new and complex. More content does not mean better content.
