The concept of Severance in itself is more than enough to make anyone interested in watching. But executing that idea - especially one this complex is a difficult task that so far has been brought to fruition in a near perfect way. This show really makes you ponder on what you think about work life, life itself and the way you perceive living. In Severance, the idea of creating a new consciousness within oneself and having to live with the fact that you'll potentially never know how that other side feels or what it's going through is a thought that goes through the minds of many characters, but the best part about the show is slowly watching the plot unravel as these characters go further and further down this abyss of what they were born into, or in another sense put their other selves into. In certain instances it's a hilarious comedy that'll remind you of The Office, but simultaneously is similar to Lost and Attack On Titan with the way it floods you with bizarre questions that are so odd yet specific that you can only wonder what's going to unfold out of it all. The spear heading of Dan Erickson's genius concept, Ben Stiller's great direction as well as the fantastic acting have made Severance a must watch show with it's first season being by far one of the best in tv history, with the 2nd season so far showing no signs of decline.
