I immediately thought "oh no", this is so corny, Ritchie-esque and utterly boyzy. Mary Poppins too. But I'll say in defence of the actors, who have been criticised for bad acting in previous reviews somewhat unfairly, that they're only doing what they have been told to do. Possibly making them look a bit silly. Anyway, I persevered beyond the start because of my curiosity of the main characters. A curiosity created by Jonathan Glazer in the original movie which is one of my all time favourite films. My harsh words didn't stop me finishing episode 3 and I am now looking forward to episode 4 dropping. Summing up I'm saying it's bad but I am enjoying it. Confused?
