Marvel Studies proclaims that this is a "sitcom" in all their marketing materials but it is painfully unfunny. The writing is juvenile, the quips and dialogue between the characters is neither witty, clever, or even interesting. Did anyone on the set laugh at this stuff as they were filming It, because if not they should have many adjustments to the script in real-time. The main character is boring, she goes through no challenges and therefore experiences no character growth worth watching. These first three 25 minute episodes have been an absolute slog to get though, since I'm often pausing to find myself doing something else. Awful writing is a real letdown to what is an otherwise interesting character in the comics.
