Sherlock Holmes is a work of fiction which will always remain popular though right now it is very over used. So along comes CW, throws in a daughter for the gender diversity, gives her agency and attitude of modern times, and throws in some historical customs and you have this. This would have worked way better if they had embraced the time period or modernised to modern times instead we have this lite version of all these themes. The script is pretty dire, and I think the actors would have been ok if they had a decent fun script instead this feels like one of those fictional movie/documentaries and incredibly boring.
