Star Trek is a series that has followed me through all of my life... I have strong connections with different series, because of when and where I experienced them. This new series has a spirit and a humanity, very similar to The Original Series.. Commander, Pike is a well thought out match as is the casting of "his number 1" beautifully matched to the original episode "The Menagerie". And attention to detail that ardent " trekkers" will appreciate from season one. On a scale of #1 to #10 my own favorites are as follows. 1. "Deep Space Nine" -94.2% 2. -The Original Series" - 85.9% 3- "Strange New World - 89.3% 4- "Enterprise". - 92.3% 5- "The Next Generation. - 91.9% 6- " Voyager" - 86.3% 7- "Lower Decks" - 88.5% 8- "The Animated Series". - 82.1% 9.- "Discovery" - 71.2% 10. - "Picard" - 61.1% o spoilers, but I will just say that "Strange New Worlds" is thoughtful and vibrant and possesses much of the charm of Star Trek, The Original Series. Mostly I encourage you to watch it and see for yourself... to Boldly go...
