I've always like the lesser DC Universe characters. Characters such as Hourman, DR Mid-Nite, and I'm really looking forward to the "Johnny Thunder" character. Rather than having the setting in Gotham City, Star City, or Central City the setting is in Blue Valley Nebraska. Moving to the middle of nowhere Courtney Whitmore must adjust to a new setting plus a step-father and step-brother. Finding the staff of Starman which Courtney learns he was her father. Determined to locate the "Injustice Society of America" in order to avenge her father's and "The Justice Society of America" deaths Courtney is determine to dive headlong without thinking. Along the way she starts picking up (in some cases reluctantly) new allies. This series shows promise. I'm glad they decided to tone down Stargirl's costume. Don't get me wrong I find bare midriffs enticing but to sexualize a 15 year old girl is close to crossing the line.
