I think what needs to be understood is that this isn't the video game or the movies. This is an anime made by Wit Studio and the writers actually want to tell an entertaining story. It's not meant to be some sort of perfect 10/10 story. It's a silly anime with silly concepts. Of course it's yet again another Isekai, which could likely put off people who are tired of Isekai content. But its actually pretty fun. I think it's important to just look at this outside the lense of DC or typical anime perspectives. The animators/writers are clearly trying to create a fun and interesting story while still bringing the familiar crazy vibes of the Suicide Squad. I suggest people give this a look, but only if you can enjoy a series objectively and leave bias out of it. I went into this series wanting to hate it and really enjoyed it for what it is. It's not a perfect series, but it's meant to be a fun quirky experience for people who are willing to turn off their brain a little and just have some fun.
