While I agree with some of the reviews about poor writing and cheesy acting the show does get better over the season. The characters do evolve and get flushed out and while some of the twists are unnecessary and predictable they do add to the overall plot of the show. If it gets a second season hopefully they will focus on the issues at hand rather then trying out more convoluted storylines just to have a story. It's reminding me of the last two seasons of Lost where everything including the kitchen sink was written in just to have as many opportunities to twist the stories any way they can. The season finale will be the nail in the coffin or the ability to give it another season.
