If you titled a series with "Jackal" then you also have to provide a little determination and quality. This is the case here for the first 20 minutes, but then (as is so often the case) it goes steeply. The budget was definitely there. Stage design is good. Camera work is okay, without too much artificial shaking, but a lot of blur. But the script is bad, often just stupid. A "Jackal" is simply not to be seen here, they should have called it "The Day of the Auto-Bomber". To the actors: Eddie Redmayne delivers a useful job, but Lashana Lynch was pretty much the greatest miscast I saw this year. Is not worth switching on.
