From the same director that gave us the original Bourne movie! This director knows how to create riveting action and he does so again with an impressive AND hilarious car chase. But this very same director has also made some excellent comedies (Swingers) and director Doug Liman's comedies are of the understated subtle kind, which is kinda Casey Affleck's kind of humor as well, who co wrote this script by the way (with some wonderful oneliners!) This sort of comedy is probably best suited for those who can appreciate annoying whining (casey affleck's role) and deadpan stupidness (Matt Damon's role) . To top it all off we have got a brilliant tough guy role by the ever cool, calm and collected actor Ving Rhames (known from Mission Impossible). I LOVED this script. I LOVED this subtle direction. I LOVED these characters. Highly underrated. You gotta love this kind of understated subtle humor though, (many dont), but I really had a blast watching this!
