The Lost Daughter 2021 480p WEB-DL x264
I thought I was going to see a film about the complexity of motherhood but the film was pretty boring and confusing. Is it because it was badly directed, so the point she's trying to make didn't go through? How can you claim there is complexity if you never feel the love from either mother for their daughters. The children had no significance, no identity, they just seem to be in the way of the women's ambition or sexual urge. There isn't one single scene where I felt they cared. I'm a mother and there is complexity in being a working mom, but this did not speak to me at all. Maybe because I love my kids and it's not always easy for me to pay the bills so I have other issues do deal with. But maybe rich people are more self involved and less attached to their kids.
