"The Patrick Star Show" is a very unnecessary, but decent enough show from Nickelodeon. Taking away all of the backlash from fans who never wanted a Spongebob spin-off, this show is actually not as bad as I thought. Does that mean it's great? Not really. What I liked about this show is that even thought Patrick is the main character, they still added in Spongebob, and even Squidward which was really nice. The show also has a lot of imagination. The animation style is very expressive and colorful, and some of the jokes are actually not that bad. But this show really suffers from having basically no real story. It's just Patrick's imagination going wild. And that can get really tiring after a while. Whenever the show does have a plot it ends up getting very messy and lost. Between all of the random visuals, and the show trying to have a story, it makes an experience that's just kind of tiring. The creators are trying way too hard to make you laugh with the animation and it doesn't work a lot of the time. Overall "The Patrick Star Show" is an unnecessary show that has some colorful animation, and some creativity, but suffers from messy storytelling, and an overload of too much visuals.
