I am so tired of reading reviews from journalists who have no idea how epic this story becomes. I cannot wait for the show to slow down, play on all the politics and vying world powers, character arcs and discoveries - magical and mundane. I read an article comparing it to GoT that said there is no "throne", absolutely laughable. The scope of this show is going to absolutely blow people away. You don't even know what you're talking about if you haven't read more than half the books. Just enjoy the ride and don't listen to anyone making any comparisons based on the first few seasons alone. We can talk around season 4 or 5.
