It's not the exact copy of the book, but the essence of the series is present. The movie does deliver the core components of a young adult book which is all one can expect from adaptations. One issue would be the music and fast scenes in the second half. However, they still were able to pull a 405-page book into 2 hour movie. Special mention would be Julio Peña, who lived the character, Ares. The internal battle of the character was so reflected in the expression.
