This movie has nothing to do with the book. Zilch. The main thing that drove the book was the relationship between Kelly and Pam, and how Pam's death at the hands of a drug kingpin, preceded by the loss of Kelly's wife and baby drove his decisions. Here, Pam is now miraculously his wife and she only has less than three minutes of screen time. Utterly pathetic. There's no emotional core to the story, no one to care about. And who the hell walks into a burning car, and sits in the burning car asking for information? Dumb overall.
