A breath of fresh air; the story doesn't follow the usual narrative line typical of Spider-Man and reinvents itself by modernizing pre-existing characters, giving them new life. The characters surrounding Peter feel real and face their own struggles, especially Lonnie, whose story is phenomenal. This series is how I wished Spider-Man in the MCU had been introduced. Comic accuracy is also phenomenal: the feeling i had reading the original comics are the same i got by watching the show, Spiderman stories and Peter stories full of personal drama and "gossip". However, the reasons that drive the character to become Spider-Man are not very clear and are barely explored. I see this as a missed opportunity to reinvent the character in this aspect.
